Happy Farm Market is a local produce and grocery store in Kerrisdale, carrying Asian, Greek and Eastern European specialty products. Store hours: Monday through Sunday, 9:30am-6:00pm. *Job Description* The Packer prepares items for packaging, including cutting vegetables. The Packer also packs items and stocks items on shelves. Some heavy lifting may be required. We are looking for honest, motivated, and hard-working individuals to pack products and assist with store duties. *Duties and Responsibilities* * Preparing items for packaging, including cutting vegetables * Wrapping, bagging, and packing items * Stocking items * Managing inventory * Moving items in and out of storage * Receiving and processing deliveries * Cleaning and tidying around the store * Some heavy lifting, up to 50 lbs. * Assisting cashiers with some front-end duties *Qualifications* * Work experience as a packer or in a similar role in the produce/grocery area * Minimum high school diploma *Skills* * Time-management * Teamwork * Organization * Strong work ethic and proactive attitude * Integrity, enthusiasm and willingness to go the extra mile * Mandarin-speaking proficiency is an asset * Cantonese-speaking proficiency is an asset We thank all applicants for their interest, however only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
