As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. *Responsibilities* * Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and standards. * Operate the cash register, handle cash transactions, and accurately process payments using POS systems. * Maintain cleanliness of the work area, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas to ensure compliance with food safety standards. * Assist customers with menu selections, provide recommendations, and address any inquiries or concerns they may have. * Monitor inventory levels of food and beverage supplies; assist in restocking as needed. * Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure the safety and quality of all products served. * Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment while managing time effectively during busy periods. *Experience* * Previous experience in food service or the food industry is preferred but not required. * Familiarity with cash handling procedures and basic math skills for accurate transaction processing. * Knowledge of food safety practices is an asset; certification in food handling is a plus. * Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during peak hours. * Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor towards customers and colleagues alike.
