*Job Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and responsible Bus Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be committed to ensuring the safety and comfort of passengers while providing excellent customer service. This role involves transporting children, seniors, or other community members, making it essential to have strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor. Bilingual candidates, particularly those fluent in Spanish, are encouraged to apply. *Duties* * Safely operate a bus according to established routes and schedules. * Ensure the safety of all passengers by following traffic laws and regulations. * Assist passengers in boarding and disembarking, especially those with special needs or disabilities. * Maintain a clean and organized bus interior. * Communicate effectively with passengers, providing information about routes and schedules. * Document any incidents or issues that occur during transit. * Perform routine inspections and basic mechanical checks on the bus to ensure it is in good working condition. * Provide exceptional customer service by addressing passenger inquiries and concerns in a friendly manner. *Requirements* * Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record. * Strong mechanical knowledge to perform basic maintenance checks on the vehicle. * Excellent communication skills in English; bilingual abilities in Spanish are highly desirable. * Prior experience working with children or in senior care settings is preferred. * Ability to write clear reports regarding incidents or maintenance needs. * A commitment to safety and a passion for serving the community.
