Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Nuclear and industrial radiologic technologies/technicians, other. Work setting: Hospital/medical facility or clinic. Tasks: Explain procedures. Operate X-ray, radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment. Operate computerized tomography (CT) scanners. Operate magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanners. Explain procedures and side effects of radiation. Record and process patient data. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Certification of the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists. Security and safety: Immunization records. Criminal record check. Screening questions: Are you available for shift or on-call work?. Are you currently legally able to work in Canada?. Do you have the above-indicated required certifications?.
