Profile Drilling is one of the GTA's premiere Environmental and Geotechnical drilling companies. We specialize in Direct Push, Conventional Auger, Rotary drilling and Sonic as well as various other methods used to collect soil, water and rock samples. We are looking for a permanent Monday to Friday full time Licensed Heavy Duty Truck Mechanic (310T) for our location in Mississauga. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: *Maintenance* ? Perform maintenance of equipment breakdowns such as Hydraulic/Pneumatics, Cooling & Lubrication systems on various types of Drilling Rigs, Trucks, Trailers and small engines *Inspection/Diagnosis *? Diagnosis rig/vehicle failures, disassemble, repair and reassemble in timely manner Trailers, Hubs, Springs, Slack Adjusters, Structural Integrity *Air Brakes* ? Inspection of all AB systems on all trucks and trailers *Work Orders* ? Maintains accurate and up to date maintenance service records/documents of all work done through work orders and monitors equipment downtime *Electrica*l ? Ability to read & interpret electrical power and control drawings and repair minor issues such as wiring, signal lights, etc. *Parts *? Maintain accurate inventory of all related vehicle and drill rigs parts *Welding *? Must have basic knowledge and experience *Tools* ? Company tools will be provided *Safety *?Ensures safety is a top priority and adheres to and follows all rules and regulations *Overtime *? Ability to work overtime periodically _Note: This role is not a fly out position_ QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS · 310T License is a must · Must have an Ontario valid G and DZ Driver's Licence with a clean drivers abstract · 5 years proven related heavy duty truck mechanic experience · High School Diploma or equivalent or Trade Certification/Diploma. · Ability to work day shift between Monday - Friday · Must be a team player who is approachable, and adaptable to changing deadlines and priorities · Good physical stamina/strength required due to heavy lifting requirements (up to 50 lbs.) of drilling equipment (drills, tools, etc.) · Must be a team player with a desire to learn, advance and enjoy working outdoors · Must be organized and detailed ensuring the work area is neat, tidy, accessible and safe Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $42.00-$50.00 per hour Additional pay: * Overtime pay Benefits: * Company events * Dental care * Employee assistance program * Extended health care * Life insurance * On-site parking * Paid time off * RRSP match * Tuition reimbursement Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Day shift * Monday to Friday Experience: * heavy duty truck mechanic: 5 years (required) Work Location: In person
