*Job Summary:*
We are seeking a dedicated and responsible Inventory Control clerk to support our production, inventory, and shipping operations. This role involves performing manufacturing duties, maintaining inventory accuracy, ensuring proper handling of materials, and assisting with shipping and purchasing tasks. The ideal candidate will maintain a safe and efficient working environment while ensuring inventory control and timely shipment of products.
*Key Responsibilities:*
*General:*
* Perform manufacturing duties and other related tasks as assigned by the Production Manager.
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment by following procedures, rules, and safety regulations.
* Adhere to occupational health and safety standards.
*Receiving/Inventory Control:*
* Receive deliveries of supplies, materials, and equipment, verifying accuracy against purchase orders.
* Complete necessary paperwork for stock items received and restock items as necessary.
* Record and maintain inventory records; reconcile stock count with computer-generated reports.
* Monitor inventory levels, process orders, and track inventory issues.
* Assist with daily/weekly cycle counts and complete physical inventory counts.
* Process and document returns (RMA) as required.
* Organize and maintain warehouse for efficient material storage and handling.
* Operate pallet jacks and forklifts to handle materials as required.
*Production Related:*
* Prepare work by reviewing work order travelers (WOT) and gathering parts for production orders.
* Kit, pick, and release parts as per WOT list and organize parts in production bins.
* Restock unused parts to inventory.
*Shipping Spare Parts:*
* Verify and prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring items match the shipping records.
* Determine the appropriate shipping method and affix shipping labels.
* Prepare containers, insert protective materials, and ensure secure packaging.
* Operate tier-lift trucks or hand trucks to move shipments.
* Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
*Purchasing:*
* Ensure stock levels of shop supply items are adequate for daily production requirements.
* Procure necessary supplies for projects and assist with purchasing tasks.
* Provide backup support to the purchasing team when needed.
*Other:*
* Conserve resources by using equipment and supplies efficiently.
* Document actions, errors, and production issues.
* Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
*Qualifications:*
* High school diploma or equivalent.
* Prior experience in manufacturing, inventory control, or shipping is preferred.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to operate warehouse equipment (pallet jack).
* Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
* Ability to follow safety procedures and guidelines.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 ? 60 per week
