*Overview* Embrun Ford is growing it's Commercial Feet Business with the addition of extra heavy duty bays. We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with the ability to work on a variety of vehicles and equipment. This role requires proficiency in diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring that all vehicles operate safely and efficiently. A commitment to quality workmanship and attention to detail is essential. *Duties* * Diagnose and repair automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and HVAC systems. * Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks. * Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot electrical issues. * Operate heavy equipment as needed for repairs or maintenance tasks. * Assemble and disassemble vehicle components for inspection or replacement. * Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols. * Perform heavy lifting when necessary to complete repairs or move equipment. *Requirements* * Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic or similar role. * Strong knowledge of automotive repair techniques and tools. * Familiarity with HVAC systems and their maintenance. * Ability to read schematics and technical manuals effectively. * Experience with heavy equipment operation is a plus. * Capability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) safely. * Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills. * Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. * Certification from an accredited automotive program is preferred but not mandatory.
