The incumbent will be responsible for providing executives with the necessary tools for informed decision-making related to supply chain operations. They will contribute by developing and maintaining BI tools, creating KPI dashboards for various Supply Chain teams, and utilizing technical expertise in data flows and extensive data sets.This role demands strong business intelligence, technical and analytical skills, coupled with adaptability to thrive in a rapidly changing, fast-paced supply chain environment.</p><p></p><p></p><p><b>Your role</b></p><p></p><ul><li>Generate and deliver comprehensive and accurate reports and create visually compelling dashboards using BI tools (e.g., Power BI)</li><li>Design and implement data models that support business requirements, ensuring data integrity and optimizing structures for efficient querying and reporting</li><li>Collaborate with business leaders and cross-functional teams to understand BI needs,</li><li>Demonstrate proficiency in SQL, data warehousing, and ETL processes,</li><li>Develop and execute the organization's business intelligence strategy aligned with corporate goals.</li><li>Conduct thorough data analysis to derive actionable insights for informed decision-making.</li><li>Translate business requirements into technical specifications for effective BI solutions.</li><li>Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization.</li><li>Provide leadership in the BI domain, offering guidance to junior analysts and team members.</li><li>Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on BI projects, providing expertise and guidance.</li><li>Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making within the organization.</li></ul><p></p><p></p><p><b>The qualifications we are looking for</b></p><p></p><ul><li>Bachelor?s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field</li><li>At least 5 years of experience in data preparation, data warehousing, and databases</li><li>At least 5 years of experience with MS Power BI, MicroStrategy, or comparable BI and analytics platforms</li><li>Advanced knowledge of SQL (Python skills an asset)</li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 Suite, including advanced Excel features (pivot tables, Power Query)</li><li>Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Access (tables, query, macro) and intermediate understanding of databases such as SQL Server and Oracle</li- LocationBoucherville, QC
