<p><span>GAL AeroStaff., which provides specialized staffing and recruiting services in the Business & Commercial aircraft industry, is presently seeking Aircraft Sheetmetal technician for a client based out of Ontario, Canada. GAL AeroStaff is an internationally approved OEM service provider / supplier. We offer competitive salaries, as well as a professional and ethical work environment.</span></p><p><span>We offer visa process for Colombian national applying for this position.</span></p><p><strong><span>Job Description:</span></strong><span><br></span></p><p><span>The selected candidates will be required to perform heavy maintenance on narrow body aircraft in Ontario, Canada.</span></p><p><strong><span>Main Duties:</span></strong><span><br></span></p><ul><li><span>Assemble, rivet, drill and bond body, structure or components of aircraft according to specifications;</span></li><li><span>Read work orders, blueprints, and specifications to determine method of fabrication, procedures and sequence of operations;</span></li><li><span>Cure bonded structures, using portable or stationary curing equipment;</span></li><li><span>Communicate with other workers to fit and align heavy parts or expedite processing of repair parts;</span></li><li><span>Clean, strip, prime and sand structural surfaces and materials prior to bonding;</span></li><li><span>Fabricate parts using metal fabricating machines, saws, brakes, shears, and grinders;</span></li><li><span>Assemble and fit aircraft and structural parts;</span></li><li><span>Perform a subassembly;</span></li><li><span>Align, fit, assemble, connect, or install system components, using jigs, fixtures, measuring instruments, hand tools, or power tools;</span></li><li><span>Other duties may be assigned.</span></li></ul><p><strong><span>Benefits:</span></strong><span><br></span></p><ul><li><span>Accommodation for 2 months</span></li><li><span>Local transportation for 2 months</span></li><li><span>Flights</span></li><li><span>Taxis for all trips to the airports</span></li><li><span>Personal Safety equipment like steel toe boots</span></li><li><span>T-Shirt in the name of GAL or the client as preferred.</span></li><li><span>On-site dedicated local support to ensure proper integration for 2 weeks.</span></li><li><span>All visa fee paid by GAL.</span></li></ul><p>Job Type: Full-time</p><p>Minimum of 40hrs per week<span><br></span></p><p><strong><span>Requirements:</span></strong></p><ul><li><span>Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds</span></li><li><span>Must be able to speak, read and write the English Language at a B2 level minimum.</span></li><li><span>Must be able to work overtime, any shift, and weekends as required.</span></li><li><span>Must be able to pass pre-employment background, drug, & medical screening, subject to TCCA requirements and random substance abuse screening.</span></li><li><span>Must have requisite basic tools prior to starting to work; tool list will be provided.
