Job details
* *Set up and Operate Brake Press: *Configure the brake press machine to bend, form, or straighten metal sheets and plates based on job specifications. * *Read and Interpret Blueprints*: Accurately read and follow blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to ensure precise bending and shaping of metal parts. * *Ensure Product Quality*: Perform quality checks using precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers) to ensure that parts meet required tolerances and specifications. * *Adjust Machine Settings*: Make necessary adjustments to machine settings for material thickness and bend angles to maintain accuracy. * *Perform Routine Maintenance*: Carry out basic maintenance tasks, such as lubricating and cleaning equipment, and report any mechanical issues to maintenance personnel. * *Safety and Compliance*: Adhere to all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times while operating the machine. * *Record and Document Work*: Maintain accurate production records, including material usage, completed jobs, and any issues encountered during operation. * *Collaborate with Team*: Communicate with supervisors, engineers, and team members to resolve production issues and ensure smooth workflow. Job Type: Permanent Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour Expected hours: 44 per week Additional pay: * Overtime pay Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Monday to Friday * Morning shift * Weekends as needed Work Location: In person- LocationBrampton, ON
