*Job Overview* Oakel City Canada. seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing insightful analysis to support business decisions. This role requires proficiency in accounting software and a strong understanding of financial principles. *Responsibilities* * Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports. * Conduct financial auditing to ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant laws. * Perform account analysis and reconciliation to identify discrepancies. * Manage budgeting processes, including forecasting and variance analysis. * Post and process financial transactions. * Prepare HST, PST, GST, EHT, Worksafe BC, and TAF returns * Oversee payroll processing and ensure timely payment of employee wages. * Utilize accounting software, such as QuickBooks, for efficient record-keeping. * Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support corporate finance initiatives. * All relevant accounting task * Preparation of HST returns, T4 * Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations. * Maintain organized financial records for easy retrieval and reference. *Qualifications* * Bachelor?s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. * Proven experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably within a corporate environment. * Strong knowledge of financial auditing, account reconciliation, and budgeting practices. * Proficiency in accounting software; experience with QuickBooks is highly desirable. * Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy. * Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. * Good communication skills to interact with team members and other departments. * Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
