Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work site environment: Outdoors. All weather conditions. Work setting: Landscape contractor. Tasks: Trim trees to achieve the desired pruning objective such as crown cleaning, thinning, raising, reduction, restoration, espalier pruning, vista pruning. Examine trees and shrubs to diagnose problems and disease. Plant and maintain private and public lawns and gardens. Plant and move trees. Security and safety: Driving record check (abstract). Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Bending, crouching, kneeling. Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots. Gloves. Rain gear. Personal suitability: Client focus. Excellent oral communication. Organized. Reliability. Team player. Leadership. Screening questions: Are you available for the advertised start date?.
