<h3>Job Description</h3><div>Job Description<div><p><strong>General <span class="long-word">Accountant/Accounts</span> Payable</strong></p><p>Toolway Industries Ltd. is currently seeking a General Accountant/ Accounts Payable individual who will provide senior accounting services and report to the firm's Controller.</p><p><br /><strong>Key duties and Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Prep and fill out payments to vendors, using cash, cheque, credit, and other forms of payment</li><li>Work with vendors to troubleshoot discrepancies, using statement of account and reconciling</li><li>Process a high volume of invoices in an accurate and timely manner</li><li>Verify and check accuracy of invoices (dates, amounts, location, services performed)</li><li>Reconcile vendor statements</li><li>Maintain filing systems: Pre-filing system for invoices not yet matched with checks; Back-up filing system - invoices and cheques paid</li><li>Process monthly reconciliation statements</li><li>Assist with special projects and any additional duties as necessary.</li></ul><p>• Post customer payments by recording cash, cheque, online, credit card, and pre-authorized transactions and update customer invoices to record receipts</p><p> </p><p><br /><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><p>Accounting Designation with a CPA designation or enrolled in the CPA program<br />University graduate<br />3-5 years of experience in accounting;<br />Experience with complex data analysis<br />Proficient in SAP<br />Excellent verbal and written communication skills<br />Ability to work independently and team environment</p></div>Company Description<div>We have successfully developed strong brands in hardware, hand tools, power tools and home & garden accessories.
