We are a Penticton-based omni-channel sport/fitness product distributor, primarily to cycling, running and outdoor retailers across Canada. We are busy and growing fast - and we are looking for hard-working, energetic and courteous person to join our team. Our work environment is collaborative, and we pride ourselves in working together to get the job done and done right. We have flexibility in hours ? if you can only go 2 or 3 days a week, we can deal with that. If you need to be home when the kids get back from school, let?s talk. Our priority is hiring good people, how much they are able to work comes after that. As an inside sales assistant, your day will be filled with a variety of tasks that support both our inside and outside sales teams. Here is an idea of what you might be doing on any given day: * Support sales team members in a variety of ways. * Communicate with customers (phone or email) on aspects of their order. * Processing online orders in preparation for warehouse team. * Assist warehouse team picking orders and packing them for delivery. * Support warehouse team in peak periods. * Assist with execution of marketing initiatives. We work in a variety of sales channels ? giving a comprehensive description of all of them and the related processes is not possible. But if you have sales experience you know there is always something that needs doing! There are opportunities for advancement for the right person. Qualifications and attributes: * experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office suite a plus * capable working on a computer * organized, with attention to detail * comfortable working with people by phone and email * strong communications skills If this sounds like a fit for you, we would like to hear more.
