We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Cleaner to join our team at Ragged Ass Barber Salon. As the Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for both our clients and staff. You will ensure that all areas of the salon are consistently tidy, hygienic, and ready for use, helping to create a positive first impression for visitors and a safe, comfortable space for barbers to work. Hours per week; 30 - 40 Location of work: 5009 48TH STREET Yellowknife NT Responsibilities *Key Responsibilities:* * *General Cleaning:* * Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors throughout the salon. * Clean and sanitize surfaces, including countertops, mirrors, and chairs. * Dust and wipe down furniture and equipment. * Ensure all trash bins are emptied and cleaned regularly. * *Salon Equipment:* * Clean and disinfect barber chairs, tools, and stations. * Ensure that tools such as clippers and scissors are sanitized and stored correctly after each use. * *Floor Care:* * Sweep and mop the floor after every hair cut or at regular intervals. * Clean up hair clippings, dust, and other debris promptly. * *Restocking and Organization:* * Ensure cleaning supplies are well-stocked and organized. * Notify management of supply shortages or maintenance needs. * *Customer Areas:* * Keep the waiting area neat and tidy, fluffing pillows, arranging magazines, and ensuring chairs are comfortable. * Set up and clean any areas used for services, including sterilizing tools and chairs as needed.
