We?re seeking a detail-oriented, proactive individual with a strong understanding of plumbing and HVAC systems to fill the role of Dispatcher. This is not your typical dispatch position?we need someone who can go beyond scheduling and truly *understand the scope of work*, assist with estimating, and keep a pulse on the company?s historical and upcoming schedule. If you?re familiar with the trades industry, have excellent communication skills, and enjoy problem-solving in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you! *Key Responsibilities:* * Receive and respond to service calls and emails promptly. * Generate work orders and ensure seamless communication between the operations team and customers. * Order or rent materials based on photos or descriptions, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery. * Assist in scheduling jobs and assigning technicians based on qualifications, availability, and scope of work. * Maintain accurate records in the CRM (BuildOps), including work data, historical work, and schedule details. * Coordinate with the admin team and operations/office managers to ensure smooth execution of jobs. * Provide technicians with clear instructions and all necessary details for upcoming jobs. * Utilize building mechanical blueprints to assist in scope development (if applicable). * Optionally assist with creating mechanical estimates and quotes. *Qualifications:* *Must-Have Skills:* * Strong communication skills and the ability to convey detailed instructions clearly. * Familiarity with plumbing and HVAC parts, tools, and terminology. * Comfort ordering materials based on descriptions, photos, or part numbers. * Experience in the trades industry, particularly in dispatch or a related capacity. * A good memory and ability to track historical work, schedules, and job requirements. *Nice-to-Have Skills:* * Ability to read and interpret building mechanical blueprints. * Experience with mechanical estimating or creating quotes. * Understanding of plumbing and HVAC scope of work in multi-residential and commercial buildings. * Strong organizational skills and familiarity with CRM systems like BuildOps. *Why Join Us?* * *Growth-Oriented Environment:* Opportunity to expand your skills in mechanical systems, estimating, and project coordination. * *Supportive Team:* Work alongside experienced trades professionals and administrative support staff. * *Impactful Work:* Play a key role in ensuring the success of our projects and satisfaction of our customers.
