I work on two types of recruitment: temporary and permanent on the South Shore of Montreal. Our team of financial experts speaks your language and operates in your world. We cover accounting, finance and payroll professions. <br> <br>I am looking for a chief accountant for my client, a company in the manufacturing sector. This is a permanent position in Henryville in hybrid mode.</p><p>* Prepare the companies' end-of-month file (reconciliations and analyses) <br>* Monitor bank accounts and loans <br>* Produce various analysis reports <br>* Update weekly financial dashboards <br>* Ensure monitoring of cash flows (accounts receivable and payable) <br>* Supervises the preparation of payroll and the management of employee files <br>* Prepare periodic government declarations and remittances (DAS, GST/TVQ, T4/R1 etc.) <br>* Knowledge of American sales taxes (an asset) <br>* Prepare and record end-of-month entries <br>* Manage customer credit and monitor receipts of all customer accounts <br>* Prepare monthly and annual financial statements by carrying out account reconciliations <br>* Review the TECs of current projects <br>* Participate in taking inventories and analyze discrepancies <br>* Participate in end-of-year processes for our 3 companies <br>* Participate in the implementation of a new ERP accounting system (Winter 2025) <br>* Participate in the budget process</p><p>* Obtaining the CPA title <br>* Undergraduate university degree (accounting) <br>* Minimum experience of 3-5 years <br>* Payroll management experience (an asset) <br>* Mastery of the Office suite (mainly Excel) <br>* Experience in the construction industry (an asset) <br>* Good knowledge of the accounting cycle and payroll processing <br>* Demonstrate respect for confidentiality rules <br>* Has knowledge of accounting software (SAGE an asset) <br>* Has excellent organizational skills <br>* Has good analytical skills and works rigorously <br>* Excellent communication skills and good team spirit <br> <br>PROCEDURE: First interview with Romane Dumaine, recruitment advisor, then with the VP Finance. <br>To apply: www.fedfinance.ca <br>To contact me: (438) 376 5485</p>
