Accountable for underwriting new credit requests, completing annual credit reviews, coordinating (or managing) draw requests, along with responsibilities for monitoring and controlling credit facilities.CUSTOMERSupport the Relationship Manager in booking new business by preparing competitive credit packages in the assigned business segment in a timely manner to meet customer needsContinually deliver exceptional customer service at every interaction and execute on plans to continuously improve the customer experienceLead all aspects of analysis for assigned portfoliosUtilize sales platform to build a robust understanding of our customers/ target needs, industries and marketsConstantly build knowledge of the market, customers and broader economic factorsIdentify and respond to changes in the business environment, establishing action plans to address customer issues and prioritiesAssist the Relationship Manager in cross-selling the full range of products to existing and new customers, as applicable to maximize revenue/profit and retention of relationships based on the risk profile of the customer ensuring appropriate credit is earned at all timesActively refer to other business partners across TDBG and respond effectively to reciprocal referrals.SHAREHOLDERAssess credit risk in compliance with applicable internal and external requirements (e.g. financial controls, segregation of duties, risk policies transaction approvals and physical control of assets) to increase profitability and enable business growthProactively promote products, sales, services and banking capabilitiesContribute to Operational Excellence business objectives and identify, suggest and actively participate in process improvement opportunitiesComplete business processes / procedures as well as monitoring and control activities in a timely and accurate mannerProtect the interests of the organization - identify and manage risks, and escalate non-standard, high risk transactions / activities as necessaryActively manage relationships within and across various business lines/ corporate and/or control functions and ensure alignment with enterprise and/or regulatory requirementsEnsure necessary due diligence to support the accuracy of all customer transactions / activitiesKeep abreast of emerging issues, trends, and evolving regulatory requirements and assess potential impactsAssume responsibility to minimize operational and regulatory risk by complying with Bank and industry Code of ConductEMPLOYEE / TEAMParticipate fully as a member of the team, support a positive work environment that promotes service to the business, quality, innovation and teamwork and ensure timely communication of issues/ points of interestProvide thought leadership and/ or industry knowledge for own area of expertise in own area and participate in knowledge transfer within the team and business unitKeep current on emerging trends/ developments and grow knowledge of the bus
