Air Plus Testing Ltd. is an independent Testing, Adjusting & Balancing company established in 1992, and we are currently seeking an experienced Testing and Balancing Technician to join our team. Pay will be based on experience & qualifications. *Responsibilities and Duties* * Testing, adjusting and balancing of heating, ventilating and air conditioning systems * Taking air flow and hydronic flow readings using sophisticated instruments * Troubleshooting flow issues * Understanding design intent * Reading & interpreting mechanical drawings * Preparing T.A.B reports *Qualifications and Skills* * Post-secondary degree/diploma in this field is an asset * Good interpersonal skills * Ability to work both independently and as a team * Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment * Ability to handle the physical demands of the job ? standing for extended periods; combination of sitting, standing, walking * Must be willing to drive long distances for jobs; at times, this job requires travel to multiple locations a day and/or multi day jobs away from the GTA * Must be willing to work occasional evenings, nights and weekends * Has an understanding of safety when on a construction site Job Type: Full-time Pay: $28.00-$42.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Schedule: * Monday to Friday * Weekends as needed Education: * Secondary School (preferred) Experience: * testing and balancing: 1 year (preferred) Work Location: In person- LocationToronto, ON
