With a career at The Home Depot, you can be yourself and also be part of something bigger.Title: Supply Chain Business Analyst - EventsPosition Overview:The Business Analyst is responsible for supporting the day-to-day activities of the IPR Events team and delivering on the team's projects and initiatives that will benefit The Home Depot. Inventory, Planning, & Replenishment (IPR) is part of Home Depot Canada's supply chain. The Business Analyst has the responsibility to advise and assist in execution of department level forecasting and replenishment strategies for both core and non-core products ensuring consistent and accurate execution by the forecast and replenishment analysts.The Business Analyst will focus on supporting with instock troubleshooting and inventory recovery for Flyer, Events, and Offshelf. The Business Analyst will also be expected to deliver complex analytics to support business objectives and that will be used for making data-driven decisions. The successful Business Analyst needs to be a team player and have strong communication and troubleshooting skills.Key Responsibilities: Workday and Workforce managementUse problem solving and analytical skills to determine root causes and action plans for Event and Flyer instock issues.Experience with financial analysis and quantitative skills, including ability to produceand review sales analysis (turns, sales, gross margin, etc.) and other analytical techniques to assist in making key forecast and replenishment decisions.Support with the development and refinement of processes and best practices related to Offshelf and EventsPerform ad-hoc analysis that will be used for making business decisions.Project Management Perform complex analytics and deliver sound recommendations based on sound Supply Chain principles.Identify process improvement opportunities and recommended changes.Consult on IT driven projects to ensure final deliverables support strategic initiatives.Partnering Provide key reporting and tactical support to IPR, Merchandising, Logistics and SeniorManagement and track Key Performance Indicators on a weekly and monthly basisCollaborate with the Merchandising Team to ensure appropriate load in strategy for Events and to respond to promotional risksCoordinate the activities of analysts in their functional area to support large Events.Strong customer focus with business acumen, problem solving skills and resultsTeam LeadershipSelf -directed, ability to work with limited supervisionDirect cross functional teams with required actions that will supportUse problem solving and analytical skills to determine root causes and action plansfor challenging supply chain problemsCompetencies: Communicates effectivelyCollaboratesAction orientedDrives resultsPlans and Aligns Skills: Analytical and proactive; informed decision making with little directionProblem solving and critical thinking; timely and effective problem resolutionExcellent communication and presentation skills; collaborative with effective interpersonal skills; able to work across departments.Time management and organizationAdaptability and flexibilityData analysisProject and change managementDirect Manager/Direct Reports: Annick BahileTravel Requirements: LimitedPhysical Requirements: Extended sittingRepetitive tasksHybrid Work: Location Flex Working Conditions: OfficeRemoteMinimum Education: Must have a post-secondary degree in a relevant field.Minimum Years of Work Experience: Must fulfill minimum time-in-position (1 year) and performance management code requirements (M+)2-3 years of analytical experience in a retail environment with emphasis on forecasting, replenishment, process improvement and data analysis.Minimum Leadership Experience:Flexible in attitude and approach to business solutions Strong work ethic and sense of responsibility and confidentialityStrong customer focus with business acumen, problem solving skills and results orientated.Certifications: NoneOther Requirements/Assets:- LocationToronto, ON
