Our company has a dynamic, committed, and hardworking team with a business driven mentality. *Job Description:* We are seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC Technician with a specialization in servicing, maintaining, and repairing rooftop units. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of HVAC systems, particularly rooftop units, and a strong commitment to providing high-quality service and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: *Service and Maintenance:* * Perform routine maintenance on rooftop HVAC units, including cleaning, inspecting, and testing components to ensure optimal performance. * Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and recommend preventive measures to avoid breakdowns. *Repair and Troubleshooting:* * Diagnose and repair malfunctioning rooftop units, including electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration components. * Utilize specialized tools and equipment to troubleshoot and resolve complex HVAC issues efficiently. *Installation and Replacement:* * Install new rooftop HVAC units and replace old or inefficient units, ensuring proper installation and compliance with safety standards. * Collaborate with other team members to plan and execute installation projects. *Customer Service:* * Communicate effectively with clients to explain service procedures, repair options, and maintenance recommendations. * Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns and ensuring their satisfaction with the work performed. *Documentation and Reporting:* * Maintain accurate records of all service and repair activities, including detailed reports of work performed and parts used. * Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations by following standard operating procedures and safety protocols. *Education and Experience:* * High school diploma or equivalent; technical school or apprenticeship program preferred. * Minimum of 3 years of experience as an HVAC technician, with a focus on rooftop units. *Certifications and Licenses:* * 313D Refrigeration License * G2 Gas Technician License * ODP Certificate * Working at Heights * Valid driver's license and clean driving record. *Skills and Abilities:* * Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing rooftop HVAC units. * Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including electrical and mechanical components. * Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. * Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. *Physical Requirements:* * Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and tools. * Comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions. * Capability to perform physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods. *A Plus Quality Inc. provided the following inclusive hiring information:* We are an equal opportunity employer and consider all qualified applicants equally without regard to race, colour, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran status, or disability status.
