We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Our hygienist whom we have had with us for 13 years has decided to retire from dental hygiene and we are looking for a kind and compassionate hygienist to fill her shoes. Hours are 7:30am-4:30pm with a one hour lunch break. There is also an option to work 7:30-6:30pm on Tuesdays and Wednesdays if more hours are wanted. The ideal candidate should be passionate about oral health and patient care, with a strong focus on preventive dental care. We offer a safe and inclusive work environment, a sterilization technician to help with instruments, room turnover and charting probing depths as well as lots of benefits and competitive wages. \*\*Responsibilities:\*\* - Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing - Conduct oral cancer screenings - Take and develop dental x-rays - Educate patients on oral hygiene practices - Administer fluoride treatments - Assist dentists during procedures as needed - Maintain patient records accurately \*\*Skills:\*\* - Excellent customer service skills - Experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus - Proficiency in Power Practice software preferred - Knowledge of orthodontic procedures is advantageous - Familiarity with dental assisting tasks is advantageous - Understanding of dental office operations - Proficiency in medical terminology - Bilingual proficiency is advantageous but not required Joining our team offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where patient care is paramount.
