Position #: 9001505 (V48681) Expected Start Date: January 06, 2025 Union: HSAS Facility: Primary Health Care Services City/Town: Regina Department: Chronic Pain Clinic Type: Full-time regular FTE: 1 Shift Information: days, evenings, weekends, stats Hours of Work: 8 hour shifts Relief: No Float: No Field Hours: No Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band Physical Therapist - Degree $40.187 to $49.255 Travel Required: YesHuman Resources Exemption: No Job DescriptionReporting to the Manager, the Staff Physical Therapist is responsible for the assessment and treatment of clients incorporating best practice and evidence based research regarding chronic disease. The incumbent will also be responsible for the supervision of students assigned to them.Education- Degree in Physical Therapy from a program recognized by the Canadian Physical Therapy Association- Registration with the Saskatchewan College of Physical Therapists.- Eligible for membership with the Canadian Physical Therapy Association. Certification for life support is required.Experience- No previous experience required.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities- Excellent communication skills.- Ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships.- Ability and willingness to travel for the service delivery area when required.- Knowledge and experience related to working with clients with chronic pain.Other Information- This is a community based position providing services in clinic and home settings. Travel required to various community sites, including rural, within the Primary Health Care Networks (Regina).
