*Overview* We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and a passion for automotive repair. This position involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles in a dealership environment, ensuring that all work meets high-quality standards. The Automotive Technician will work with both hand tools and power tools, and may be required to assemble components as well as perform welding tasks when necessary. *Location* 261093 Wagon Wheel View, Rocky View, AB *Duties* * Diagnose and repair automotive systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems. * Maintain accurate records of all repairs and services performed on vehicles. * Assemble vehicle components according to schematics and specifications. * Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete repairs and maintenance tasks. * Perform heavy lifting as needed to access various parts of the vehicle during repairs. * Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery. * Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques. *Qualifications* * Proven experience in automotive repair, preferably within a dealership setting _*(Red Seal Required)*_. * Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues. * Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment. * Ability to read and interpret schematics related to automotive systems. * Experience with welding is a plus but not mandatory. * Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. * Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job duties.
