*Overview* We are seeking a passionate and skilled Sous Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry and a commitment to culinary excellence. As a Sous Chef, you will play a vital role in supporting the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food preparation, and leading the culinary team to deliver exceptional dining experiences. *Duties* * Assist the Head Chef in planning and directing food preparation activities. * Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest quality standards. * Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment. * Ensure proper food handling and sanitation practices are followed at all times. * Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menu items and improve existing recipes. * Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies and minimizing waste. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations. * Help troubleshoot any issues that arise in the kitchen during service. *Experience* * Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role within a restaurant or food service environment. * Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively. * Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen equipment, and safety regulations. * Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in food presentation and service. * Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure. * A passion for hospitality and commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
