 Worker Type:Permanent Language(s) Required:English, French Salary Range (plus eligible to receive a performance based incentive, applicable to position) :$103,331 - $139,803 Proven leader with underwriting expertise neededLead a regional underwriting team specializing in ag production lending. You’ll manage and coach a team of underwriters and partner with sales staff in preparing files for approval, ensuring consistency in approach and risk mitigation.This is a bilingual position. We encourage all candidates to submit their application, regardless of whether they believe they meet the linguistic requirements of the position. Qualified candidates will complete a language evaluation in their second official language and if necessary, be supported with language training. What you’ll do:Review your team members’ narrative underwriting for ag production proposals prior to Credit Risk submission to ensure narratives are succinct and completeProvide sound advice, detailed feedback and intensive coaching to underwritersServe as a primary communication channel between Credit Risk and sales staff for all credit applications that run through the regional team What we’re looking for:Proven leader with an established track record of collaborating with internal and external partnersA highly professional approach to business and partner relationshipsStrong communicator who can explain complex information and share knowledge to diverse audiencesAnalytical thinker with the ability to evaluate complex lending situations What you’ll need:A bachelor’s degree and at least five years of experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)Expertise in analyzing ag production lending opportunities, and applying advanced credit analysis and risk mitigation strategies to lending situationsProven experience in underwriting credit applicationsAg Production lending experience is considered an asset- LocationVarious locationsCasselman, , ONFrankford, , ONKanata, , ONKingston, , ONLindsay, , ONThornton, , ON
