*Job Overview* We are seeking a compassionate and responsible Babysitter/Nanny to provide exceptional care for children in a nurturing and safe environment. The ideal candidate will have to be able to speak Luganda fluently and English, have experience working with children, and possess the skills necessary to educate, engage, and support their development. This role requires a commitment to maintaining a clean and organized space while preparing meals and ensuring the overall well-being of the children. *Duties* * Supervise and engage with children in various activities, including playtime, educational games, and outings. * Prepare nutritious local Baganda meals and snacks according to dietary needs and preferences. * Maintain a clean and safe environment by tidying up after activities and ensuring that toys are organized. * Assist with homework or educational tasks to promote learning and development. * Provide emotional support and guidance to children, fostering a positive atmosphere. * Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's daily activities, behavior, and any concerns that may arise. * Implement routines that promote structure while allowing for flexibility in the children's day-to-day activities. *Skills* * Experience working with children of various ages is essential. * Strong caregiving abilities, demonstrating patience, empathy, and understanding. * Ability to educate children through engaging activities that promote learning. * Proficiency in meal preparation and cooking healthy dishes for children. * A clean and organized approach to maintaining the childcare environment. * Willingness to accommodate working persons with disabilities as needed.
