*Job Summary* We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Logistics Supervisor to oversee our logistics operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the logistics process, ensuring efficient transportation management systems. This role requires strong leadership skills and a keen understanding of management and demand planning to enhance overall operational efficiency. *Responsibilities* * Supervise daily logistics operations of the transport * Manage logistics team. * Distribute tasks to the logistics team * Negotiate freight rates with national and international carriers to ensure goods are shipped based on established requirements and on budge * Overtime, and take clients requests. * Ensure high customer service with the sales team. * Analyze data to identify trends and improve logistics performance metrics. * Develop and implement strategies for effective materials management and demand planning. * Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies within the warehouse. *Requirements* * Proven experience in logistics and transport industry. * Familiarity with transportation management systems and warehouse management systems. * Strong data analysis skills to assess operational performance and make informed decisions. * Experience in order picking processes and package handling within a warehouse setting. * Excellent organizational and leadership abilities to manage a diverse team effectively. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. * Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with team members and stakeholders effectively.
