*The Role*
We are currently seeking a driven and talented *Electrical Engineer (P.Eng.)* to join our dynamic engineering services team, shaping the future of Ontario?s industrial and commercial landscape. The successful candidate should exhibit the following:

*Duties & Responsibilities *
As an Electrical Engineer at Start, the successful candidate?s roles and responsibilities will include:
* Design and engineering of commercial and industrial electrical systems
* Equipment specifications, component selections, and shop drawing reviews
* Development of engineering calculations, documents, studies, and reports
* Coordination with engineering & trades teams for project execution
* Review and sealing of drawings as necessary
* Mentoring, coaching, knowledge transfer, and collaboration with junior staff
* On-site reviews, investigation, and client meetings
* Management of team members and projects
* Engineering sales development
*Required Skills *
The Applicant should demonstrate adequate knowledge and competency in the following areas:
* Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Autodesk AutoCAD; experience with Revit an asset
* Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & Outlook) and Teams Software
* Intermediate to advanced knowledge of electrical simulation software (ETAP, EasyPower or SKM)
* Knowledgeable in the development of electrical studies (Arc Flash, Coordination, Ground Grid, etc.)
* Working knowledge of industry design, building, and safety codes/standards
* Experienced in industrial power system design, equipment selection, and system operation
* Knowledge of drafting standards, drawing/schematic development, and design layouts
* Experience with single line diagrams, fire alarm, raceway plans, grounding, and lighting designs
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Fluent English, with strong written and oral communication skills, including technical report writing
* Task oriented, objective, and self-starting
* Able to work effectively and efficiently without direct supervision
*Education, Experience & Qualifications *
Applicants shall meet the following mandatory requirements at minimum, to apply:
* Registration as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in the Province of Ontario; registration in other Canadian provinces or US states an asset
* Bachelor?s Degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
* 4+ year of engineering experience, preferably in the industrial or construction field
* Valid Driver's License
* Able to lawfully work in Canada
