Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our team. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a vital role in providing quality oral healthcare to our patients. Your primary responsibilities will include performing dental cleanings, educating patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, and assisting the dentist during procedures. Chart and write notes of the treatment plan discussed by doctor, make treatment plan on TRACKER and book as needed/discussed by doctor. Responsibilities: - Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing - Take and develop dental x-rays - Conduct oral cancer screenings - Administer fluoride treatments and apply dental sealants - Chart and write notes of the treatment plan discussed by doctor, make treatment plan on TRACKER and book as needed/discussed by doctor. - Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized recommendations for at-home care - Assist the dentist during procedures by providing necessary instruments and materials - Maintain accurate patient records and update medical histories - Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe and sterile environment - Collaborate with the dental team to deliver comprehensive patient care - call and bring the patient into room and walk out with patient to front desk to book for next appt. if not booked in the Hygiene room. Experience: - Previous experience as a Dental Hygienist preferred but not required - Familiarity with Tracker is a plus - Knowledge of dental assisting procedures and techniques - Experience working with pediatric patients is highly desirable - Familiarity with orthodontic procedures is beneficial - Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages - Proficiency in medical terminology related to dentistry - Familiarity with dental office operations and administrative tasks We offer competitive compensation based on experience and qualifications.
