*Overview:* We are seeking a dedicated and responsible Bus Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of groups and crews, while providing excellent customer service. This position requires strong communication skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to educate passengers on safety protocols.
*Job Description:* Specifically operating unit to and from one location to another with passengers.
*Characteristic Duties and Responsibilities:* Duties to be performed will include but are not limited to the following:
* Drive buses or units to transport passengers along established routes to destinations.
* Drive buses to transport passengers
* Ensure passenger safety when boarding and leaving buses and crossing the street while bus is stopped.
* Offer courteous, friendly service to passengers.
* Tidying of the bus as required, fueling.
* Drive buses and aid passengers in boarding.
* Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
* Communicate with passengers, dispatchers, or other drivers using two-way radio systems when required.
* Report delays, mechanical problems, and accidents.
* Ensure passenger safety and welfare in emergencies, and direct passengers during evacuation procedures.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Safely transport groups and crews to and from designated locations.
* Adhere to designated routes and schedules.
* Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
* Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service.
* Comply with all transportation regulations and company policies.
* Ensure accurate and timely ELD logging to comply with regulatory requirements and monitor driving hours.
*Qualifications:*
* Orientation, on-job route training, Drug Alcohol testing for some positions.
* Clean drivers abstract.
* Bus drivers require a Minimum Class 2 driver's licence with air brake endorsement.
* Valid bus driving license with a clean driving record.
* Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly in English; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus.
* Mechanical knowledge to perform basic maintenance checks on the vehicle.
* Ability to write reports and communicate effectively with team members and passengers.
* A commitment to safety and the ability to educate others on safe practices.
* Ability to work 8 to 10-hour shifts, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $32.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
