You?ll collaborate with internal stakeholders, manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts and ensure that IT needs are met in a timely, cost-effective and efficient manner. You?ll play a key role in optimizing technology spending while maintaining a high standard of service and quality. <br>This position is designated bilingual (English and French), and the successful candidate must be able to communicate in both of Canada?s official languages.<p></p><p></p><p><b><span>What you?ll do:</span></b></p><ul><li>Lead and/or support RFx events within your assigned category including developing RFxs as well as carrying out sourcing activities</li><li>Complete research and analysis to support a category strategy that delivers savings and efficiencies for FCC</li><li>Lead and deliver on category management initiatives, including establishing necessary processes and procedures</li></ul><p></p><p><b><span>What we?re looking for:</span></b></p><ul><li>Strong interpersonal skills</li><li>Strong analytical and research skills</li><li>Detail-oriented and organized</li><li>An ask-questions-to-seek understanding (curious) approach</li></ul><p></p><p><b><span>What you?ll need:</span></b></p><ul><li>Bachelor?s degree in <span>business administration/economics/commerce, supply chain management or other related field</span></li><li>5-8 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. </li><li>Advanced knowledge of procurement standards and practices including, strategic sourcing, contract management and vendor management</li><li>Must be working towards or have already completed an industry recognized procurement or supply chain management certification</li></ul>- LocationRegina, SK
