We are looking for a Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at Days Inn Steinbach. You will have leadership skills to deliver the highest standards of excellence thru Genuine Care for our guests and staff. Duties Will include: Assist with scheduling the housekeeping team Assist with interviewing, hiring and training new housekeeping members Provide guidance to the housekeeping team to ensure high standards of cleanliness are met throughout the hotel Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming and sanitizing bathrooms Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens and towels in guestrooms and public areas Report any maintenance issue or safety hazards to appropriate personnel promptly Assist the housekeeping manager as required Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to guest requests regarding housekeeping services The successful candidate will possess: Friendly, attentive, and fun personality 2 years supervisory experience preferred 2 years housekeeping experience is preferred A positive attitude and commitment to providing excellent service Ability to solve problems and make quick decisions Strong attention to detail and ability to follow and provide instructions accurately Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that require standing, walking, bending and lifting The job is located in Steinbach, Manitoba. There is no public transit available, candidates must be able to commute to Steinbach for every shift. Job Type: Part-time Pay: $16.70-$21.00 per hour Expected hours: 24 ? 40 per week Additional pay: * Overtime pay Benefits: * On-site gym Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * Day shift * Holidays * Monday to Friday * On call * Weekends as needed Ability to commute/relocate: * Steinbach, MB R5G 1T3: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Experience: * housekeeping: 2 years (preferred) * Supervising: 2 years (preferred) Language: * English (preferred) Work Location: In person- LocationSteinbach, MB
