This role is essential in ensuring inventory integrity and process compliance. This role is integrated with the receiving and inventory team to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of inventory management. The ideal candidate will be adept at fostering strong relationships, strong attention to detail, problem solving and root cause analysis and demonstrating teamwork in a dynamic environment. Meeting deadlines is crucial, as is the ability to drive operational efficiencies. Reporting directly to the Warehouse Shift Supervisor, this role responsibilities extend to ensuring inventory accuracy, reducing variances, cycle counting, replenishment and receiving. *Duties & Responsibilities:* * *Inventory Management & Cycle Counting:* * Conduct scheduled cycle counts using ABC analysis * Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies through recounts and detailed reporting * Ensure accurate inventory adjustments and maintain stock integrity * *Receiving & Replenishment:* * Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy * Ensure proper documentation and labeling of received stock * Put stock away in designated locations while maintaining warehouse organization * Assist in replenishment processes to ensure stock availability for order fulfillment * *Returns Processing:* * Manage the returns good queue and process returned inventory * Perform truck checks and verification of returned items * Oversee the tank return process and ensure accurate documentation * Audit and process non-stock items for return or reallocation * *Reporting & Audits:* * Resolve inventory-related tickets and discrepancies * Review daily reports to ensure inventory accuracy and efficiency * Conduct regular inventory and picking audits to maintain order accuracy and compliance * *Slotting & Warehouse Organization:* * Optimize warehouse picking paths for efficiency * Implement zone picking strategies to streamline order fulfillment * Remove and manage purge/discontinued items * Ensure proper labeling and organization of inventory locations * *Serial Number Tracking:* * Ensure accurate capture and documentation of serialized units * Maintain detailed records for traceability and compliance * *Order Fulfillment:* * Pick, pack, and ship orders accurately and efficiently * Support logistics operations to ensure timely and correct order deliveries *Qualifications:* Responsible for delivering high quality customer service to our customers in a fun and positive work environment. Must have a working knowledge of residential HVAC, the ability to multi-task and to meet the needs of the customer while creating an exceptional customer experience at every interaction. * Proven experience in warehouse distribution and inventory control * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications * Valid forklift license and experience operating various warehouse equipment * Strong understanding of shipping and receiving processes * Knowledge of supply chain management and order fulfillment * Ability to perform basic math and root cause analysis for inventory discrepancies * Excellent oral, interpersonal, and written communication skills * Able to lift up to 50 lbs *Johnstone Supply *has been providing brand name products, expert technical knowledge, and superior customer service to the HVAC/R (heating, ventilation, air-conditioning and refrigeration) industry since 1948.
