*JOB POSTING YVRC 001: *Customer Service Agent *LOCATION*: Richmond, B.C. *SHIFT*: 10-hour shifts, will include both Saturday & Sunday. Shifts will vary, with start times as early as 06:30am and finishing as late as 9:00pm (therefore having own vehicle and living locally is preferred) *TERM:* Full-Time, Permanent *WAGE: *Starting at$24.00/hr, based on experience; will be reviewed after probationary period. *BENEFITS & COMPENSATION*: Health Care Spending Account (HSA), RRSP match, Medical & Dental Plan, and In-House Flight Benefits *WHO WE ARE:* Seair Seaplanes has been in operation for over 40 years and has 12 aircraft, providing scheduled service, scenic tours and charters throughout southern B.C. *Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:* -High-volume telephone reception, flight reservations and responding to email enquiries -Greeting and checking in passengers, as well as issuing boarding passes -Weighing, lifting and tagging luggage -Preparing passenger manifests, data entry and filing -Calculating weight and balance for aircraft, dispatching of flights and aircraft scheduling -Conduct radio communication effectively with the pilots and flight following of aircraft -Balance end of day credit/cash transaction report *Required Qualifications:* -Strong telephone communication and interpersonal skills -Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds -Skilled multi-tasker, calm under pressure -Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written -Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) -Must be able to work effectively with others and independently -Previous aviation and/or tourism experience is an asset -Geographical knowledge of BC?s West Coast is an asset -Previous guest service experience is an asset *To apply:* Please email your cover letter, resume, and references to: flights@seairseaplanes.com We wish to express our appreciation to all applicants for their interest in this position, and advise that only candidates selected for an interview will be contacted.
