*Butler Concrete & Aggregate Ltd. * *Sales Representative* *Victoria, BC* The Sales Representative works closely with Sales, Production, Dispatch, Quality Control/Quality Assurance and the Duncan Aggregate Division. This position combines technical proficiency with sales acumen to assess client requirements, recommend appropriate solutions, and facilitate business agreements. Primary responsibilities include conducting presentations, negotiating contracts, providing technical support, and sustaining enduring client relationships. Role Responsibilities ? Prepare quotations under the direction of the Sales Manager, Distribute once reviewed and follow-up until awarded. ? Obtain feedback on lost work. ? Pursue leads and prospects provided from tools such as Yellow Sheets, CoolNet and other resources as well as investigate leads encountered in the field and bring to the attention of the Sales Manager. ? Promote and sell company products and services to existing and new customers. ? Assist in organization of sales and marketing functions, customer entertainment. ? Address inquiries on our products, services and pricing. ? Address complaints/issues and follow through to resolution. ? Assist the customer in assessing their needs and compliment with company products and services. ? Ensure excellent relations with fellow employees, customers and the general public. ? Additional duties as required. Requirements ? Sales background and a minimum of two years of equivalent field experience in concrete operations and technical sales. ? An understanding of construction methods and materials, including product knowledge is an asset. Attributes ? Positive, energetic, and professional. ?
