*Job Summary* We are seeking a skilled Drywall Finisher to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for finishing drywall surfaces to ensure a smooth, professional appearance in various commercial and residential projects. This role requires attention to detail, proficiency with hand and power tools, and a solid understanding of construction processes. The Drywall Finisher will collaborate with other trades to deliver high-quality results that meet project specifications and safety standards. *Duties* * Apply joint compound and tape to drywall seams, corners, and joints for a seamless finish * Sand and smooth surfaces to prepare for painting or further finishing work * Read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to determine finishing requirements * Use hand tools such as trowels, knives, and sanding blocks, as well as power tools including drills and sanders * Install drywall sheets accurately according to schematics and project plans * Caulk gaps and joints to ensure airtight and water-resistant finishes * Assist with related tasks such as insulation installation, framing adjustments, or minor carpentry as needed * Maintain a clean work area and adhere to safety protocols on-site *Experience* * Proven experience in drywall finishing or related construction trades * Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and construction estimating is preferred * Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, caulking techniques, and surface preparation methods * Experience with other trades such as carpentry, painting, masonry, or electrical work is a plus * Ability to operate heavy equipment or perform concrete finishing is advantageous but not required * Prior work involving restoration, cabinet installation, flooring installation, tile laying, plumbing, welding, or electrical experience is beneficial but not mandatory This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects within the construction industry.
