*Job Summary* We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Grill Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality grilled dishes, ensuring food safety standards are met, and delivering excellent service to our guests. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment where attention to detail and culinary skills are highly valued. *Responsibilities* * Prepare and cook grilled menu items according to recipes and quality standards * Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet customer expectations * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill station and surrounding areas * Follow food safety guidelines and proper handling procedures at all times * Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients * Serve food efficiently while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor * Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs to management * Adhere to restaurant policies regarding sanitation, safety, and food handling *Requirements* * Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments preferred * Knowledge of cooking techniques, especially grilling methods * Strong understanding of food safety standards and proper food handling practices * Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining quality standards * Excellent serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction * Experience with meal preparation, food industry operations, and kitchen equipment is a plus * Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks associated with cooking duties * Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and evenings as needed Pay: $18.50 per hour Benefits: * Store discount Work Location: In person- Location Chetwynd, BC
