*Job Overview* We are seeking a skilled Arborist to join our team, dedicated to the care and maintenance of trees and landscapes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of arboriculture practices, including tree trimming, planting, and health assessments. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety while working in various outdoor environments. *Responsibilities* * Perform tree trimming and pruning to maintain healthy growth and aesthetics. * Assess tree health and diagnose issues related to pests, diseases, or environmental factors. * Operate bucket trucks and other equipment safely for high-altitude work. * Conduct landscape maintenance tasks including planting and caring for shrubs and gardens. * Utilize GIS technology for mapping and managing tree inventory. * Rigging techniques for safe removal of branches or trees as needed. * Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition. * Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient project completion. *Requirements* * Proven experience as an Arborist or in a related field is preferred. * Familiarity with rigging techniques and safe bucket operation. * Knowledge of landscape maintenance practices is a plus. * Ability to operate a bucket truck safely in various conditions. * Understanding of GIS technology for effective tree management. * Strong physical fitness to perform manual labor outdoors in varying weather conditions. * Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. * Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
