*Duties & Responsibilities:* * Install, maintain, and repair cable systems for commercial customers * Perform cable terminations, splicing, and testing * Troubleshoot and resolve issues with cable connections and signal quality * Install various network equipment * Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards * Installation of Cat 5e, Cat 6, Cat 6A, Fiber Optics, 18/2 cable. * Terminations, labelling and documentation * Testing and troubleshooting * Wifi installation * Paging installation and troubleshooting * Camera installation * Access Control Installation * Cell station/ DECT installation * Dome Light Installation * Installation of cabinets and patch panel *Qualifications :* * Have a minimum 5 years of experience * Have a valid drivers license * Mechanical knowledge and ability to use hand tools effectively * Experience with low voltage systems, including telephone and computer networking * Familiarity with electrical principles and wiring techniques * Proficiency in Ethernet * Strong problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently * Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and provide technical support * Be reliable with an eagerness to provide the highest quality and standards * Be organized and punctual with paperwork * Have basic computer skills and access to a mobile device for regular communication and dispatching *Compensation:* * Varies based on experience, certifications and skill level * Job Type: Full-time * $25.00-$35.00 per hour *Schedule:* * Varies depending on jobs * Opportunity for after hours work The Cable Technician role requires physical stamina, as it involves working in various environments, climbing ladders, lifting equipment, and bending or kneeling in tight spaces.
