The Government of Quebec is granting over $4M to 26 municipalities in the Bellechasse area to carry out road rehabilitation and maintenance projects in the region.
The Municipalité de Saint-Bertrand is investing more than $1.6M in improving traffic flow and integrating green spaces and sports facilities into its urban centre. The project will begin shortly and be completed by the fall of 2025.
The municipalities in the Lotbinière-Frontenac riding will receive nearly $34M over five years from the Government of Quebec to support infrastructure projects. Among others, the Ville de Thetford Mines will receive over $7.7M.
The Beauce region will receive nearly $52M over five years from the Government of Quebec to support municipal water projects as well as other types of projects. Among others, the Ville de Saint-Georges will receive more than $9.7M.
Sitec Amérique du Nord Inc., a mining company, is investing $2M in expanding its infrastructure in Saint-Urbain. The start-up is scheduled for September, and there will be vacancies.

Over a two-year period, the Government of Quebec will invest over $818M in transport infrastructure in the Chaudière-Appalaches region. The provincial government will invest almost $475M in the rail sector and over $285M in the road sector.
