The Government of Saskatchewan released KPMG’s Economic Analysis for the Westside Irrigation Rehabilitation Project, showing the project is expected to generate 30,000 person years of employment overall, 9,500 jobs during construction, and $770M in tax revenue to the government. The project involves irrigating up to 90,000 acres of land.
The Government of Saskatchewan is granting $1.3M in 2024-2025 for disability service providers to upgrade program facilities and improve accessibility. The money will be distributed to 20 organizations across the province.

The Saskatchewan government and City of Regina chose locations for two new joint-use schools in east Regina. The elementary school will accommodate 800 public school seats and 600 catholic school seats, while the high school will accommodate 2,000 students. The schools will provide 180 child care spaces.
