*Job Summary* We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, ensuring the safe and effective use of medications, and collaborating with healthcare professionals in a hospital setting. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology and acute care practices, particularly in pediatrics. *Duties* * Review and interpret physician orders to ensure appropriate medication therapy. * Prepare and dispense medications accurately, including compounding when necessary. * Provide patient education on medication administration, potential side effects, and drug interactions. * Monitor patient medication therapies for efficacy and safety, making adjustments as needed. * Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize medication management for patients. * Maintain accurate records of medication dispensing and patient profiles. * Participate in clinical rounds and contribute to interdisciplinary team discussions regarding patient care. * Stay updated on new medications, therapies, and best practices in pharmacy. *Qualifications* * Bachelor of Pharmacy degree registered by Ontario College Of Pharmacy * Valid pharmacist license in Ontario. * Experience in a community pharmacy. * Strong knowledge of medical terminology and pediatric medication administration. * Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care. * Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. * Commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with pharmacy practices.
