Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Tasks: Interpret welding process specifications. Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment. Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals and processes. Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment. Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing and soldering equipment. Follow emergency and safety procedures. Welding techniques: Shielded metal arc welding (SMAW). Gas metal arc welding (GMAW). Flux core arc welding (FCAW). Submerged arc welding (SAW). Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Attention to detail.
