*Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and professional Bus Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting passengers to their destinations while providing excellent customer service. This role requires strong communication skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to educate passengers about routes and schedules. Bilingual candidates, particularly those fluent in Spanish and English, are highly encouraged to apply. *Responsibilities* * Safely operate a bus while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. * Ensure the comfort and safety of all passengers during transit. * Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, particularly seniors or those with disabilities. * Maintain a clean and orderly bus interior. * Educate passengers on routes, schedules, and any changes in service. * Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding any issues or delays. * Perform routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure mechanical safety and report any maintenance needs. * Provide exceptional customer service by addressing passenger inquiries and concerns promptly. *Experience* * Valid commercial driving license (CDL) with a clean driving record is required. * Previous experience as a bus driver or in a similar transportation role is preferred. * Mechanical knowledge is a plus for performing basic vehicle maintenance checks. * Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations. * Bilingual or multilingual abilities are advantageous, especially in Spanish and English, to better serve our community. * Experience in senior care or working with elderly populations is beneficial for understanding their specific needs during transportation.
