*Job Overview*
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general dentistry with experience in pediatrics and familiarity with dental software such as Dentrix and Epic. This role requires excellent communication skills, a commitment to patient care, and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
*Responsibilities*
* Perform comprehensive dental examinations and assessments for patients of all ages, including children.
* Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and preferences.
* Provide preventive care, including cleanings, fluoride treatments, and sealants.
* Conduct restorative procedures such as fillings, crowns, bridges, and extractions.
* Utilize CAD technology for creating dental restorations when necessary.
* Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix or similar dental software.
* Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
* Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to ensure smooth operation of the practice.
* Stay updated on advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education opportunities.
*Qualifications*
* Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) from an accredited institution.
* Valid state dental license and current malpractice insurance.
* Experience in pediatrics is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
* Proficiency in using dental software systems such as Dentrix or Epic is a plus.
* Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry is beneficial.
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients and their families.
