Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Tasks: Administer tests using equipment, instruct patients on test procedures and record results, and monitor, check and calibrate auditory equipment. Carry out treatment programs, under the direction of physiotherapists and/or occupational therapists, to rehabilitate patients with various injuries or disabilities. Develop information materials for patients. Follow through on treatment programs with patients. Help physical therapists. Maintain prescription records . Set up and dismantle equipment. Clean and maintain equipment. Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies. Maintain supplies. Maintain inventory of equipment. Process files and paperwork. Schedule and confirm appointments. Manage routine office functions including reception, telephone and booking appointments. Order supplies and equipment. Organize and maintain inventory. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Work under pressure. Repetitive tasks. Physically demanding. Manual dexterity. Attention to detail. Standing for extended periods.
