We are a seasonal Muskoka resort looking for a full time Housekeeping Manager from May ? October.
The Housekeeping Manager oversees the operation of the housekeeping department, including the in-house laundry facility. The cleanliness of the entire resort is the primary responsibility for this role. The Housekeeping Manager inspects all rooms before guest check-in to ensure every arrival has been prepared properly.

* Train, supervise & evaluate all laundry and room attendants; providing constructive feedback when necessary.
* Ensure all staff are wearing proper uniform and well groomed.
* Create weekly staff schedule
* Closely monitor all Housekeeping time cards
* Conduct weekly inventories and submit order sheets to management.
* Quality control inspections of resort rooms, equipment, linen and cottage supplies.
* Regular, ongoing and friendly communication with all departments and management.
* Work with hotel guests who have specific housekeeping needs.
* Coordinate housekeeping needs with other hotel department managers.
* Make sure Laundry facility is kept tidy both inside and out.
* Assist with room cleaning and laundry if necessary.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 6 months
Pay: $21.00-$23.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 44 per week
