*Overview* We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in truck and trailer repair and maintenance, with experience working on various vehicles and industrial equipment. This role requires a commitment to providing exceptional customer service while ensuring that all repairs are completed to the highest standards. *Duties* * Perform diagnostic tests to identify mechanical issues in vehicles and equipment. * Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes * Utilize hand tools and diagnostic equipment effectively to complete repairs. * Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot electrical problems. * Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols. * Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle's condition and necessary repairs. * Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in automotive technology. *Requirements* * Proven experience in truck and trailer repair, preferably in a dealership or similar environment. * Proficiency in using hand tools and diagnostic equipment specific to automotive mechanics. * Experience with industrial equipment maintenance is a plus. * Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients. * A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications related to automotive repair are preferred. * Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
