We are currently seeking a *Proposal Coordinator *to join our *Marketing team* to work out of our *Kitchener,* *Burlington*, or *Toronto* office. We collaborate with clients to enhance the communities where our friends, families, and neighbours live and work. _*Why MTE?*_ * Multi-Disciplinary Expertise: Collaborate with engineers from various disciplines, scientists, and surveyors to broaden your skill set. * 100% Employee-Owned firm with shareholder opportunities * Competitive compensation, benefits, RRSP matching, Wellness Spending Account and performance bonuses * Training and professional development opportunities * Reimbursement for annual professional memberships * Flexible work environment and work-life balance * Collaborative culture * The opportunity to participate in various Social Committee events and community focused initiatives *Responsibilities:* * Lead the proposal process from inception to submission, ensuring compliant, high-quality, and timely delivery. * Search for, review, evaluate, and respond to public and private sector proposal opportunities (RFPs, RFQs, etc.), as well as unsolicited bids. * Interpret RFP and RFQ documents to determine proposal requirements. * Coordinate proposal kickoff meetings to outline deliverables and deadlines. * Conduct research, gather information, and attend meetings as needed. * Collaborate with technical staff writers and subject matter experts within the company, ensuring the development of comprehensive proposal/bid content. * Write, proofread, edit, and design proposal content, adapting existing material and boilerplate content. * Utilize your creativity to enhance proposals and the proposal development process. * Maintain and update the company?s proposal boilerplate content, continually refreshing existing templates and information, as well as regularly creating or updating proposal resources including case studies and CVs. * Track active proposals and results for reporting. * Manage multiple concurrent initiatives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. * Communicate and collaborate with the entire Marketing and Business Development Team across all offices. * Produce proposals using Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, and other applications using Microsoft Office. * Assist with other proposal-related duties as assigned. *Qualifications:* * 5-10 years of experience in a proposal coordination or related role in the AEC industry. * College Diploma or University Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, English, Journalism, Technical Writing, or a related discipline. * Graphic design talent and experience. * Solid understanding of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign) and Microsoft Office applications. * Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. * Creative mind with the ability to craft and effectively use marketing copy in proposals. * Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with various groups, setting expectations and ensuring other departments meet deliverables. * Exceptional writing and communication skills, with the ability to understand and explain technical information to diverse audiences. * Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines across multiple proposals, both individually and as part of a cohesive team. * Highly organized, with a track record of being detail-oriented and delivering high-quality wo- LocationKitchener, ON
